Canopy by Hilton Austin Downtown

Why stay at the Canopy? This will serve as the pick-up/drop-off location for a shuttle service to our wedding and reception on Friday. It is also walking distance to after-party bars on 6th Street!
Other Options
There are many other great hotels and Airbnb options in Austin! Here are the areas we recommend based on your vibe:
1) Downtown: Anywhere downtown will be a short walk or uber to pretty much anything you want to do in Austin for the weekend! Did we mention the Canopy?
2) South of the river: The neighborhoods around South Congress and Zilker Park are beautiful, walkable, and close to our hearts. You can also explore anywhere in Austin from here with a quick uber ride.
3) East 6th Street: The neighborhoods between E. 4th and E. 11th are quirky and walkable to E. 6th, which is lined with bars and restaurants.
4) Close to the venue: If you prefer to stay close to the Wildflower Center, consider the Oak Hill area or farther west on 290 toward Hill Country. Keep in mind, you may need a car for this option.
Transportation
A shuttle service will be provided between the Canopy hotel in Downtown Austin to the Wildflower Center for the wedding ceremony and reception on Friday, March 20. The shuttle will depart from the Canopy at 5pm. Regardless of where you stay, we recommend that all guests uber to the Canopy to take advantage of the shuttle!
If you prefer, you can uber directly to and from the Wildflower Center, but expect higher prices and longer wait times. The Wildflower Center is 20 minutes from downtown, but rush-hour traffic may impact your journey on Friday evening.
The Wildflower Center has ample parking in the Center’s parking lot and street parking on Lacrosse. You are welcome to leave your car overnight! However, the Center asks that any cars in the parking lot be retrieved by 10am the next morning. Street parking has no time limit.
